From NYC and points South:

VIA TACONIC PARKWAY:

Go north on the Taconic Parkway to the exit for Route 55 West/Poughkeepsie. Stay on Rt. 55 for approx. 8 miles into the city of Poughkeepsie. It will merge with Rt. 44 and become three lanes one way westbound. Move over to the right lane. Soon the road will curve left around the Grand Hotel and Civic Center. Get into the far right lane if not already there. At the first light after the curve turn right. This is Main Street. PAM is the second building on the left and the other galleries are 7 storefronts further down the hill. Street parking and a corner lot are available.  We are just five blocks from the Hudson River.

VIA NYState THRUWAY:

From NYS Thruway (Interstate 87) take Exit 18 - New Paltz. After the toll, turn right onto Rt. 299 West. Take this to the end (6 miles). At the light turn right onto Rt. 9W South. Take this about 4 miles to the Mid-Hudson Bridge (a right exit ramp). Cross the bridge ($1.00 toll). At first light, turn left onto Jefferson St. At stop sign make a right onto Union St. Go one block to Bridge St (one-way and no street sign) and turn left. Go one block to light and make a right onto Main St. The gallery and museum will be on the right, just past the sculpture garden. Street parking and corner lot are available.

THRUWAY ALTERNATE:

From Thruway take Newburgh/Route 84 Exit (#17).  After toll plaza follow signs to Interstate 84 (first exit after tolls) and take the Eastbound ramp (toward Beacon Newburgh Bridge).  Take last exit, #10 Route 9W North, before bridge and make a left heading north on 9W.  Take this all the way to the Mid-Hudson Bridge.  Cross the bridge ($1.00 toll). At first light, turn left onto Jefferson St. At stop sign make a right onto Union St. Go one block to Bridge St (one-way and no street sign) and turn left. Go one block to light and make a right onto Main St. The gallery and museum will be on the right, just past the sculpture garden. Street parking and corner lot are available.

From Albany and points North:

Get off at Main St. exit. Turn right onto Main St. We are 4 blocks east (up the hill) on the right hand side, just past the sculpture park.

From Route 9 traveling South:

Get off at the Church St/Rt44-55 left-hand exit. Keep to the left up the ramp (do not get back on Rt, 9 north) to exit onto Church Street. At first light, turn left onto Jefferson St. At stop sign make a right onto Union St. Go one block to Bridge St (one-way and no street sign) and turn left. Go one block to light and make a right onto Main St. The gallery and museum will be on the right, just past the sculpture park. Street parking and corner parking lot are available.

By Train:

Both Amtrak and Metro-North stop at the Poughkeepsie train station. We are located 4 blocks east, up the hill. It is a pleasant walk, but taxis are also available in front of the station.
